My name is Sylvia Joseph Galambos.
I teach French and Spanish at Brien McMahon High School.
I grew up in El Salvador in a bilingual French and Spanish home and have always had a passion for languages, different cultures, and travel. I also have a passion for sharing knowledge with others and love working with children.
I have a B.A. degree in French and an M.S. degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Chicago. I have been the president of Language Enterprises, Inc. for over 20 years. The company teaches French and Spanish to children of all ages and adults.
I love being a Brien McMahon language teacher and believe in the success of all students. I like to encourage all students to reach for the stars.
